SMS Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 10, 2026

1. SMS Program Description

VitalDesk sends appointment-related and customer care text messages on behalf of healthcare clinics using the VitalDesk platform.

Messages may include appointment request confirmations, appointment approval or decline updates, reschedule updates, cancellation updates, callback notifications, appointment reminders, patient support follow-ups, and similar healthcare communication messages.

VitalDesk sends SMS messages as a communication service provider on behalf of the relevant clinic. The clinic remains responsible for the underlying patient relationship, appointment decisions, patient consent practices, and healthcare obligations.

2. Opt-In Consent

Patients may opt in by providing their mobile phone number through a clinic website form, appointment request form, AI receptionist chat, phone call, intake form, registration process, or other clinic-approved communication workflow.

Consent to receive SMS messages is optional and is not a condition of purchase, treatment, or receiving healthcare services.

The clinic is responsible for obtaining and maintaining any consent required by applicable law before enrolling a patient phone number for SMS communication through VitalDesk.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on patient activity, appointment status, clinic communication settings, and the type of appointment-related workflow being used.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. VitalDesk and the clinic are not responsible for charges imposed by your carrier.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.

After you reply STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you should not receive further SMS messages from that messaging program unless you opt in again.

Opting out of SMS messages does not prevent the clinic from contacting you through other channels where permitted by law and clinic policy.

6. Help Instructions

For help, reply HELP or contact your healthcare clinic directly.

You may also contact VitalDesk at hello@creativeworldprime.com.

7. No Emergency Use

SMS messages sent through VitalDesk are not monitored for emergencies and should not be used for urgent or emergency medical needs.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services, such as 911 in the United States, or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.

8. Privacy and Mobile Information

No mobile opt-in information or SMS consent information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Mobile information is used only to deliver appointment-related and customer care messages a patient has consented to receive, to maintain messaging records, to process opt-outs, and to comply with applicable telecommunications laws and carrier requirements.

Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.

9. Carrier and Delivery Disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS delivery may be affected by carrier availability, network conditions, device settings, or other factors outside VitalDesk’s control.

10. Changes to SMS Terms

VitalDesk may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
